Starting in 2026, striking workers can file for Unemployment Insurance (UI) in both Oregon and Washington. In April 2026, PCCFFAP and PCCFCE members went on strike at Portland Community College. Their members had some issues applying for and receiving their UI benefits. With their assistance, we have compiled these FAQ documents for members and leaders who are considering going on strike.
