Members Advocated for Public Funding, Student Support and Revenue Reform during December Legislative Days
Members from across AFT-Oregon met with 26 legislators across three days during the December Legislative Days. At each meeting, members told compelling stories of how decades of chronic underfunding and revenue constraints have impacted higher education workplaces and the need for safety within K-12 workplaces.
Our 2025 legislative agenda will feature real solutions to the issues facing our workplaces: funding, accountability, and student support. Stay tuned for the public launch of our legislative agenda in January!
